I am an Economist from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia), with a Master's degree from the same University, and Ph.D in economics from the University of Miami, in the United States.

I have been preparing myself academically and professionally to work to improve individual’s welfare, particularly of those in more need.

Mission

My mission is to contribute to poverty and inequality reduction. I am passionate about economics and it’s society’s transforming power.

I have worked in the public and private sectors in Colombia, being part of the most important think tanks in the country and acquiring expertise in social policies such as the pension system, the labor market, the health system, fiscal system, social assistance programs, among other important public policies.

Currently, I am consultant for the World Bank in the Poverty and Equity Practice for the Latin American and Caribbean Region.
